Fragrance Pyramid: A Blend of Spices and Florals
Serpentine is classified as an eau de parfum. Its opening combines pink pepper, bergamot, and blackcurrant for a spicy yet refreshing first impression. The heart reveals jasmine, lavender, rose petals, and golden saffron, creating a floral and subtly aromatic layer. At the base, vanilla and precious woods deliver a warm, slightly sweet, and long-lasting finish.
The Italian fashion house emphasizes that the composition was crafted with versatile raw materials suited for both daytime wear and evening occasions. The fusion of spices, florals, and oriental notes aims to appeal to women seeking a signature fragrance that balances intensity with refinement.
Functional Design Meets Collectible Value
The matte white glass bottle contrasts elegantly with the serpent’s golden finish. Each flacon comes with a detachable bracelet that fits seamlessly around the bottle and doubles as a wearable accessory. This design transforms the fragrance into a fashion object, adding collectible appeal.
Details such as the serpent’s coiled curves and textured scales were carefully crafted to strengthen the connection between the scent, the campaign imagery, and Cavalli’s brand identity. In a statement, Roberto Cavalli emphasized that the design was created to “celebrate passion, power, and feminine beauty.”
The result is a fragrance that functions not only as a perfume but also as a collector’s item.
Video Campaign Expands the Narrative

In addition to the photographs, Cavalli released a cinematic video where the golden serpent coils around Natasha Poly’s body. The film alternates between close-ups of the model, detailed shots of the bottle, and shimmering metallic reflections. The soundtrack builds moments of suspense and exaltation, amplifying the perfume’s magnetic aura.
The video was produced for social media platforms, streaming channels, and in-store displays, combining static and dynamic content to broaden reach and reinforce the fragrance’s storytelling.
Availability and Pricing
Serpentine will be available in 50 ml and 100 ml bottles. While suggested retail prices have not yet been revealed, Cavalli has confirmed global distribution across its boutiques, select perfumeries, and online retailers. The fragrance is set to launch in key markets across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
The brand has not yet announced complementary products such as body lotions or travel-size editions but indicated it may expand the line depending on consumer reception.
